Explore Inspiration has been online since 2005 and features handcrafted works of art, home decor & unique gifts from around the world. My goal is to bring you quality handcrafted merchandise created by talented artisans in a variety of mediums - from traditional folk arts such as basketry and needlework to painting, sculpture, ceramics and more.

Many of the items you will see on the site are marked with this icon. These items were purchased from importers who have been certified by recognized Fair Trade organizations such as the Fair Trade Federation and the International Fair Trade Association (IFAT). This certification ensures that the artisans who create these items receive a fair wage for their work, are able to work in safe conditions and practice sustainable methods. I also buy direct from local artists here in the US.
